Rescheduling

If there are hazardous weather conditions prior to the departure of the charter, the deposit or down payment may be reapplied at no additional cost along with a complimentary change in the charter departure time or date.

Non Holiday Cancellation Policies

If a cancellation is made with at least 7 days notice before the scheduled departure, in writing (email is ok). A merchant processing and administrative fee of 10% of the amount paid will be charged for any refunds. With the exception of day charter hazardous weather and the below-stated cancellable situations, deposit payments are non-refundable if reservations are canceled less than 7 days before the scheduled departure time. If you cancel your charter less than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, the entire charter fee will be paid, and there is no return unless the day’s scheduled departure is affected by hazardous weather or one of the other criteria specified below. If there are more than 96 hours to departure, the charterer may ask to modify the charter or make changes to the reservations. Any and all requests for and amendments to the charter.

The administrative costs, the reservation of your yacht, the crew, and the activities are covered by all deposits and/or down payments made to reserve yacht charters or water sport add-on packages. Your deposit removes the yacht from inventory and stops other customers from making reservations. With the exception of day charter hazardous weather, cancellable conditions, or 96 hour written notice, all deposits and any down payments are non-refundable. The full cost of the charter will be paid if the charterer cancels less than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time or does not show up.

Holidays Cancellation Policies

If cancellation is made with at least 7 days notice in writing—email is acceptable—all money made will be returned. A merchant processing and administrative fee of 10% of the amount paid will be charged for any refunds. With the exception of day charter hazardous weather and the below-stated cancellable situations, deposit payments are non-refundable if reservations are canceled less than 7 days before the scheduled departure time. If you cancel your charter less than 72 hours before the scheduled departure time, the entire charter fee will be paid, and there is no return unless the day’s scheduled departure is affected by hazardous weather or one of the other criteria specified below. If there are more than 72 hours to departure, the charterer may ask to modify the charter or make changes to the reservations. The management of the charter must accept any adjustments, requests, and alterations; the crew is not permitted to alter the itinerary of the charter. Payments for catering must be made in whole and cannot be refunded.

Payment Policies

Your final balance will be paid with the credit or debit card on file just before you leave. Charters may be canceled for non-payment prior to departure if there is no current card on file.

On the day of your charter, upon onboard your charter vessel, you must present the valid credit card used to make the booking payment as well as a photo ID that matches it for staff verification.

  • Your only payment options for a charter that costs more over $3,000 are Zelle, Cash App, or bank transfer.
  • payment must be made in full 24 hours before your departure date.
  • Split payments from several credit cards are not accepted by us. Only one primary charter guest may make any credit card payments.
  • We may require an additional damage security deposit. Security deposits are completely returned following charter staff verification that no damage to the vessel, its equipment, or systems has occurred if neither you nor your guests cause any damages during your charter.

Day Charter Hazardous Weather Conditions (multi day charters not included)

  1. At time of departure, hazardous weather conditions must occur.
  2. Storms with an epicenter within five miles of Miami that fit into any of the characteristics listed below. 
    • Named storms affecting the inland waters near Miami.
    • “Hazardous” storms with a length of more than four hours are expected to affect Miami’s inland waters.
    • Craft advisories have been issued for Miami-area inland waterways with gusts greater than 30 mph and/or wave heights greater than 3 feet.

Other Cancellable Conditions

“Unforeseen circumstances” (i.e. death in immediate family, hospitalization). Deposit reimbursement requires medical documentation in the form of a certificate or doctor’s report.

Non Cancellable Conditions

Weather conditions that are not considered cancellable include isolated showers, cloudy skies, or a forecasted “chance of rain.” News reports or media coverage that emphasize a current event or sensationalize regional events with regard to the weather, tourism dangers, medical concerns, or other travel-related “warnings” that are not actual state or federal travel prohibitions are not regarded as cancellable circumstances.

Refund Processing Fees

The deposit or downpayment will be repaid less a merchant processing and administrative fee of 10% of the total amount paid in the event that day charter dangerous weather conditions occur and rescheduling is not possible.

Minimum Gratuity Requirements

The minimum gratuity of 15% of the retail cost of the vessel charter is agreed upon by the charterer and the crew members.
